Annual Campaign:
Our Annual Campaign is the means by which we raise funds to help bridge the gap between operating income and operating expenses.  Tuition and fees cover 86% of our operating expenses and the remaining 14% must be made up from other sources. Our goal is 100% participation from Faculty and Staff, Board of Trustees members and enrolled families.

Families are asked to make pledges to the Campaign by December 31, 2011. Payments can be made in installments, and all gifts must be paid by June 30, 2012.

Winter:

Winter Wreaths and Garlands are scheduled to arrive the first week of December. For those who make on-line orders for school delivery, an email will be sent when the wreaths have arrived.

Online Donations

You may donate directly to our school.

Grocery Cards

We all need groceries, and by purchasing your Safeway, King Soopers or Vitamin Cottage grocery cards or Niwot Community Cash through the school office, Shepherd Valley receives 5% of sales.

These are pre-loaded cards in increments ranging from $25-$100, which function like a debit card. For every $100 sold, Shepherd Valley receives $5.00.

Grocery cards can be purchased through the recurring-order program. You sign up to receive grocery cards on the 1st and/or 15th of each month and pick them up in the office or have them mailed to your home.

We also now have King Soopers reloadable cards. Information is available here.

To sign up for this program, please contact our Administrator at admin@shepherdvalley.org.

10% Club

The Shepherd Valley Waldorf School 10% Club is a collection of local businesses and individuals offering services to the Shepherd Valley community including parents, faculty, and staff.  This club includes a variety of merchants in Boulder County.  Participating businesses are listed in several school publications, including a bi-weekly parent newsletter, and are publicized at school events.  The newsletter is distributed to every Shepherd Valley family, mailed to nearly 100 greater community members, and posted on the school’s website.

Participating merchants agree to donate 10% of all eligible sales to Shepherd Valley Waldorf School.  An eligible sale is that in which a patron mentions the Shepherd Valley 10% Club.  Shepherd Valley Waldorf School agrees to acknowledge each donation with a receipt letter, provide appropriate tax paperwork, and publicize your membership in the 10% Club at all available opportunities.

This program is mutually beneficial in that it provides an opportunity for your business to gain visibility in the community while providing opportunities for tax -deductible donations.  Donations made to Shepherd Valley are used to expand our program offerings, provide tuition assistance, and to support the general operating budget.

To sign up for this program, please contact our Administrator at admin@shepherdvalley.org.
