Presentation on the Unique Teaching Methods of Waldorf Education

Tuesday, August 3rd from 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Longmont Public Library, Room B - 407 4th Avenue
Join Thesa Kallinikos, Shepherd Valley Waldorf School Teacher, for this free presentation to learn more about how Waldorf Education awakens the mind, enlivens the heart, and engages the hands.
This presentation is perfect for parents with children of any age. It is also great for parents who think their child may need a change of schooling or are interested in learning about another educational philosophy and style of teaching.
Waldorf schools offer a developmentally appropriate, balanced approach to education that integrates the arts and academics for children from preschool through twelfth grade. It encourages the development of each child's sense of truth, beauty, and goodness, and provides an antidote to violence, alienation, and cynicism. The aim of the education is to inspire in each student a lifelong love of learning, and to enable them to fully develop their unique capacities. Join us and find out more about this unique educational opportunity!
