Shepherd Valley Waldorf School located in Niwot, just east of Boulder, Colorado, offers a unique educational experience for children from pre-K to 8th grade that integrates art, academics and practical skill development along with outdoor activities on a spacious 38-acre campus. Our unique farm setting provides a "living laboratory" for a broad range of hands-on math, science, geography and history projects. Parent-Child Class Lead Teacher: Shepherd Valley Waldorf School is currently seeking a part-time Parent-Child Class Lead Teacher to join our team for the 2016-17 school year. These classes serve the youngest families in our school. In contrast to other teaching positions, this teacher guides families, not only the children. The teacher must be comfortable with the presence of adults in the classroom, and must be able to communicate effectively with them. Equally important is the work with the youngest children in the school, ages 18 months-3 years. See more 

Summer Camp 2016 EC Lead Teacher: Shepherd Valley Waldorf School is currently accepting applications for a Summer Camp Early Childhood Lead Teacher for 2016 summer sessions (Ideally, a 9-week teaching commitment and induction, with a 3-week session minimum) June 13-August 19th. See more

Main Lesson Teacher for the 5th Grade Primary Function: To serve as the guiding teacher for the class, to teach main lesson content and skills as appropriate and with a commitment to excellence throughout, to coordinate and collaborate with subject teachers, to communicate clearly and effectively with parents, to carry the children inwardly through the years, to support the retention of students and the growth of our student body – in all, bringing exceptional Waldorf teaching to students in your class. See more
